In November's issue of the Kitchissippi Times, I wrote about the history of policing in the west end/Westboro, and how the police station and jail in Westboro came to be!
I think a lot of present-day residents would be surprised to learn that the little building on the Churchill Avenue hill was once that police station, at first for Nepean Township, but later for the City of Ottawa (all the way until 1983!)
